The purpose of this course is to meet the Applied Behavior Analysts Technician 40 hour coursework requirements and all of the QABA competencies outlined in the standards. These competencies include Autism, Applied Behavior Analysis, Positive Behavior Supports, Person Centered Planning Concepts, and Autism Specific Strategies and Interventions. This coursework also includes 3 hours of Ethics that a Behavior Technician must know and demonstrate competency.

The purpose of this course is to meet the Autism Services Practitioner Certificate Program 188 hour coursework requirements and all of the QABA competencies outlined in the standards. This certificate program includes the required supervision training to earn the QASP-S endorsement upon successful completion of the QASP examination. This Certificate Program includes 45 hours of Ethics and Ethical issues related to providing ABA Treatment to individuals diagnosed Autism and related disorders. This certificate program also meets the Behavior Management Assistant (BMA) requirements for California Regional Centers for 188 hours of graduate ABA coursework.

For those students who have taken courses as part of the 4th Edition BCBA Course sequence each of the above courses are also offered as standalone courses. Please refer to our content grid when determining which courses are still needed to meet QBA coursework requirements. While we can assist in mapping the courses a student has previously completed the QABA Credentialing Board will need to make the final determination on approving a student's coursework.
